FAQs

What is THC-a?

THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is a naturally occurring compound found in raw hemp plants. In its unheated form, THCa is non-intoxicating and is often appreciated for its potential wellness-supporting properties. It is commonly present in freshly harvested or minimally processed hemp flower.

When exposed to heat through processes like smoking, vaping, or cooking, THCa converts into another well-known compound through a process called decarboxylation. Because of this, THCa products offer versatility depending on how they are used.

Many customers seek out THCa hemp products for their purity, potency, and connection to the plant’s natural profile. Our THCa offerings are carefully sourced from compliant hemp and undergo rigorous testing to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to federal regulations.

Is it “REAL”?

YES! Our products are derived from organically grown plants, extracted in the least disruptive ways possible. There are synthetic products out there but you can rest assured that our products are naturally derived and mindfully produced. All of our flower is organically grown and sourced from our family farm in Oregon.

Our products are not only natural but they WORK, if you’re seeking the euphoria of THC you’ll be very pleasantly surprised to discover our products do the trick AND they’re full of the minor cannabinoids that benefit your body comprehensively- unlike “medical” marijuana.

HOW is this LEGAL?

The legality of THC-A hemp products for retailers is primarily based on the distinctions made in the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized hemp and its derivatives provided they contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9-THC. Retailers must ensure their products comply with both federal and state regulations, undergo proper testing, and are accurately labeled to remain within legal bounds.

Our shop meets all of these standards and then some! On top of being fully legal, the products we carry are all natural and consciously produced.

Why doesn’t CBD work for me?

Knowing if CBD is working or not working isn’t as black and white as we may want because our endocannabinoid system is extensive. Why you are taking it may be not exactly what your body needs and wants.  For example someone with anxiety may take it to help with that but all of sudden notices they aren't as stiff or achy after a workout. The change with your anxiety is also something that might not be recognized right away because your endocrine system is so out of whack it will take regular dosing for an extended amount of time before you notice. Give it time and make sure to take it on a regular basis before you decide it doesn't work.

What does smoking hemp taste and feel like?

If you have ever smoked cannabis the taste is exactly the same and dependent on the strain.  Most hemp is a sativa and comes from the same plant as high THC cannabis but has a low THC.  Most people feel more a body relaxing high than a head high like THC high strains.

How and when do I take my tincture?

Depending on why you are taking it can dictate when you take it.  For sleep you’d take it before bed.  Anxiety you might take a small dose in the morning and another before bed.  There isn't a prescribed amount because everyBODY is different.

How much CBD is too much CBD?

EveryBODY is different in how much their body needs but you can’t overdose on CBD.

What is Delta-8?

Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid in the cannabis plant that is a very small amount in most strains. In the lab they extract that small amount from a large volume of plants to come up with a much stronger pure delta-8 distillate.  Than that is added in carts, gummies, etc. It is a THC cannabinoid so it is psychoactive and will get you high.  Most people report it isn’t as strong as delta-9 and that they like the mellow high effect.

Can I get a head buzz from CBD?

Most people do not get a head buzz from CBD alone.  If it is a full spectrum some more sensitive people may feel a slight head buzz from the delta-9.

Is there anything I shouldn’t take while using CBD?

We encourage everyone to consult with their doctor if they are on prescription medication.  Especially high blood pressure, statin, or mood regulators.  As you take your CBD you may find you don’t need the prescription drug in that high of dose.  Good to talk to doctor if you are wanting to wean off.

Can CBD and Delta-8 products show up on a drug test?

CBD isolate or Broad Spectrum doesn’t show up on drug tests because no THC is in it and that is what the drug test is looking for.  Full Spectrum, Delta-8 and 9 can show up on a drug test.

Do the other brands you carry contain hemp from your farm?

All our products come from us or farms we vetted to hold the high quality we believe is best practice.  A Lot of products are from neighboring farms and from Oregon.

What are the negative side effects of taking CBD and hemp?

Some people say they feel tired when taking CBD.  But a lot of people aren’t getting enough sleep and CBD just helps you to calm your nervous system down and sleep.  It is just trying to get you to slow down and sleep.

Can CBD replace other medications
and supplements I am on? Can I take them together?

Discuss with you doctor before making any big changes to your medications.  Most are just fine to take at the same time.
